Google Knol, a new free knowledge sharing platform (encyclopedia) is launched. It is different from wikipedia because here authors have full control on their content, they can include their names, pictures and affiliations (professional Associations) in their knols (A Knol is an article on a specific topic).Every one can write their own Knol on any topic  to show their knowledge to the rest of the world.

How To Earn With Knol?

It is a helpful tool to build credibility (You can include Knol links on your blog or website to build credibility) but the greatest feature of this platform is its monetization option; Authors can include adsense ads within their Knols to share revenue with Google.

Knol VS Blogging

A knol is quite similar to a blog post as people are allowed to comment on articles, its publishing interface is also similar to a wordpress blog. Many people believe that Knol pages will be highly indexed by Google, So it is a major threat to bloggers, I would like to disagree with these thoughts because its an open opportunity for every and there is nothing that can harm those bloggers who are continuously writing unique and quality content.

Knol Pages In Search Results

Along wikipedia knol pages are expected to receive top positions in search results not only because it is Goggle’s product but also because of many other factors(high back links, large content). If two or more people write on the same topic then their ranking will be determined by reader’s reviews and ratings.

So, even if you don’t have a website or have a website but very low traffic or have a high traffic website, in all these cases you have to write your own knols for more exposure, more credibility and more income.

Smart People Can Earn High Revenue With Google?

Written by admin on Friday, July 4th, 2008 in google.

Google adsense is simply the best income solution for infopreneurs and small business owners. Now Google has also entered into the typical affiliate marketing business by acquiring Double Click, one of the finest ad serving company. Youtube (Google’s Company) partners program is also a great monetization option for content publishers.

Earning With Youtube

Broadcasting yourself on Youtube not only build credibility but also bring thousands of visitors to your site. Youtube videos have made pre-selling easy because visitors who visit your website after watching videos are already convinced of your knowledge and abilities. Now content publishers can also earn high amount of income through Youtube partners program, Youtube will share and deposit ad revenue received from partner’s video page into his/her adsense account.

Things To Know Before Applying To The Partners Program

  • This program is only available in USA,UK and Canada
  • Make sure all your videos are original, uploading any other video like TV shows or movie trailers will not work
  • Make sure that your videos attract high traffic otherwise your application may not be accepted.

Google’s Affiliate Network

Traffic of every merchant depends on two main sources (affiliates and search engines), merchants receive pre-sold quality traffic from affiliates and only pay commission when there is any sale. So affiliate traffic is much better and inexpensive than pay per click marketing campaigns. Google want to eat the full share of traffic cake and that is the main reason why they acquired double clicks and launched their own affiliate network. The biggest limitation of this network (double click) is that it is only in few countries while its well established competitors Shareasale and Commission Junction are all over the world.

Should I Stay Away From Adsense Ready Websites?

Written by admin on Sunday, June 15th, 2008 in Infopreneurship, google, internet.

Internet is the information super highway and all successful info publishers(infopreneurs) earn money with Google adsense. Creating content (information) is a time consuming process and requires a lot of hard work, that is why some people are selling ready made websites with hundreds of the pages of content. As we all know that earning online with Google adsense is very simple (Its simple because you just need to create unique and quality content) but not as easy as described by these adsense ready website sellers, they are continuously fishing for innocent newbies.

Why Adsense Ready Websites Are Scams?

Any one can buy these adsense ready websites but only those people earn online who write their own original and quality content .There are many reasons why these websites are scams and some of the are listed below.

1) Google’s Duplicate Content Policy (No Search Engine Traffic)

Content of website that you are going to purchase is already indexed by Google as people have purchased same content or same website many times before. Google’s duplicate content policy clearly states that same content over multiple domains (websites) is considered as “Duplicate Content“, so your site will not be indexed by Google and you are not going to receive any search engine traffic.

2) No Credibility

Good, quality and unique information builds reader’s loyalty and give them a very good reason to come back again and again. But the information on your website is not original and same information is already there on many other website. There is nothing special on your site, why should they subscribe to your newsletter?

3) High Bounce Back Rate

These websites are very poorly designed as their main purpose is to make innocent people fool. Bounce back rate of these ugly websites is much higher than a well designed website.

4) Hosting And Internal Link Scams

There are some sellers that provide adsense ready websites free of charge and only charge the hosting fee. But actually it’s not free; they link your main site with their own individual pages to enjoy free income on your behalf.

Google Is Monitoring Your Activities?

Written by admin on Sunday, June 1st, 2008 in google.

Success of any website or Blog depends on its traffic and Google is the biggest source of search engine traffic. For infopreneurs Google also provide revenue through its content matched ads(adsense). So any attempt to cheat Google may result in a disaster for your business because it is monitoring you through various means.

Monitoring Your AdSense Account
At the initial stages of a web-based business when traffic remains low (not enough content), no one can expect high adsense revenue. So any attempt to click on your own adsense ads by yourself (Clicks coming from same IP addresses over and over again) or by friends and family can cause some serious damage to your account(account termination). Google consider all such clicks as “invalid clicks” (click fraud).

Duplicate Content Punishment
More Content = More traffic

Quality and uniqueness of the content is very important, an idea of using private label articles or copying content from some one’s website simply not work. Google heavily punish websites with duplicate content, getting a good page rank for an article that is already indexed by Google is a non realistic demand. In other words duplicate content means zero traffic.

Google knows your feed subscribers?
How much subscribers do you have? This is a question that determines your credibility. Most of people use feed burner to burn their RSS feed and recently Google has acquired this company. So it has full information about your RSS subscribers.

Using Google Analytics Is A Good Idea?
Google analytics provide quality free information about your traffic, traffic sources (referral or search traffic) and geographical location of visitors. Website traffic grows with the increase in content and using Google analytics is really a great method to let Google know the process of traffic evolution.

How To Build Credibility (Conclusion)
Quality content = More subscribers = More track backs = More credibility

Quantity of content drive traffic and quality builds credibility . Infopreneurship is a business of words and it is for every one except those who want to scarify long term goals over short term gains.

Google Has No Such Feelings For Yahoo

Written by admin on Monday, May 12th, 2008 in google.

Both Microsoft and Yahoo have a strong belief that they cannot compete with big search engine giant Google. Currently Microsoft has abandoned yahoo’s acquisition but it’s not over yet as romance between both these companies still continues and they have no other choice except a “merger”.

According to recent stats (US Stats) by accuracies Google holds 53% market share, yahoo 17% and Microsoft 7%.If both yahoo and Microsoft combines then their US market share would be 24%.So pulling the Google’s share is a tough task even if acquisition takes place as people have some emotional and psychological relationships with Google because they believe that it’s Google who will guide them through to their desired information. The term”goggling” is as popular as “searching” or “surfing”.

Google and It’s Acquisitions

While Microsoft wants to acquire Yahoo but it’s other competitor (Google) has a very long history of making acquisitions. In the last seven years or so Goggle has acquired more than 50 big companies. Not only that Google has also launched some new services in recent years, Google Checkout is just as an example that was introduced to compete with pay pal.

Why Google Is Not Interested In Yahoo?
Google is the biggest search engine and holds the largest market share but still there are some external threats and several acquisitions may take place as every search engine wants to compete with Google. Yahoo holds the second largest market share and if Google acquires yahoo then there will be very little competition in search engine market. Although this is a hypothetical statement but it has happened before, when one company fails to deal then other comes into play (i.e. competition for the acquisition of ABN-AMRO between Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland) for the purpose of acquisition. At this point in time Google has no such feelings for Yahoo.

Winning The Google’s Heart

Written by admin on Wednesday, April 30th, 2008 in google.

Yes, it’s Google who will bring quality visitors to your site so you have to use your brain to read the Google’s mind. How to read the Google’s mind? Google is a search engine that uses various algorithms to rank a page and these algorithms are difficult to understand but all infopreneurs can do one thing that is strongly linked with the Google’s mind. Google is not a human but all information seekers who search on Google are humans and if you fulfill the informational needs of these people then you will not only win their hearts but also the Google’s heart.

Choosing the right niche in any infopreneurial business is the starting point of a journey towards success but understanding the informational needs of the people in your niche is equally important (What people are searching for?). In other words! If you will write for the people who are searching for specific information on Google then Google will not disappoint you.

All major search engines respects uniqueness of the content, no one can achieve success with private label articles and adsense ready websites. There are thousands of providers that provides adsense ready website with private label rights articles but all these sites that use duplicate content are heavily punished by search engines. There is no shortcut to success and successful infopreneurs always write with passion and commitment. No one can build his own brand name and readership with ugly adsense ready websites.

Why I Say Content Is the Ultimate King?

Not only me! Every infopreneur believes that content is the king. If your website is an Online Mall then you can focus on SEO, Paid Search Ads and many other things but If your website is an infopreneurial venture then don’t worry every thing will be done automatically by the quality and uniqueness of the content. A lot of webmasters and bloggers will link and send track backs to your articles, Google will also send thousands of the visitors to your website. Good infopreneurs are those who build their content with patience and with out any hurry, after six months to a year results can be seen and this success story will have no ends. Although if your website have enough content but still you are not satisfy with your income and traffic, it means something is seriously wrong with your website traffic. That is why I always advise infopreneurs to use SBI to avoid any disappointment in future, SBI tools will do every thing for you and results can be seen in the form of revenue after a year or so. If you are interested in blogging then nothing is better than wordpress blog on an independent host.

In short, quality of content means:

  • Reader’s Loyalty
  • High Back Links
  • High Traffic

And all these three things will result in high income
